Feedback about Les Ormes Resort from previous guests about their experience

Review summary

Based on recent reviews

Les Ormes Resort is known for its well-equipped apartments, some featuring dishwashers, washing machines, and efficient heating systems. The sports hall, offering activities like football, ping pong, and badminton, plus the popular padel court (rentable for £20 per hour), are commonly enjoyed, and the proximity to the airport is convenient. Some guests have noted that the accommodation type received was not always as expected, as some booked apartments and received lodges instead. Breakfast can be made in the apartments themselves, and the location of some apartments near the pool and kids park is considered ideal for families.

Just Ok, I Suppose

high noise level early mowing

The location was acceptable. The proximity to various attractions made it convenient for day trips.

I didn't get the apartment I booked originally. It was supposedly a 'general availability' thing. The noise level was surprisingly high. The gardeners started mowing early on the day of checkout!

Wonderful Stay

sports hall helpful staff

The sports hall provided fun activities such as football, ping pong, and badminton. The padel court was a hit with the kids. Renting it cost £20 per hour, including free rackets and balls. I appreciated that I could leave my bags in reception both before check-in and after check-out. The staff was always helpful and kind..

I booked a one bedroom apartment, but I received a one bedroom lodge instead. The accommodation was noisy and warm. Hot tubs were not private.

Rooms

The apartment had a thoughtful inclusion of a dog bed and dishes. Its design and layout, coupled with the surrounding greenery, was lovely. It created a peaceful atmosphere.

Dining

10/10

Breakfast offered a good selection of items. The staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating to my coeliac needs. This ensured a safe and enjoyable dining experience.

Facilities

9/10

The kids loved the provided activities. The swimming pool was clean and well maintained. I hired a bike and enjoyed cycling with my kids, though some hills were challenging.

Location

The location is very good and offers great sports. It's close to the airport, but a taxi or bus is needed to reach nearby shops. Aircraft noise may be a concern for some.
